Converted Polaroids and Forgotten Lyrics

Hello Bloggers!  These are some pictures that i took in polaroid and edited.  Today i was in Senior Hall working on my piano skills and i started writing a song about my late grandfather and the lyrics were making me cry.  Unfortunately it was so impromptu that i have forgotten the words.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photos.

Sorry i haven't updated lately.  I went on a photography excursion on my campus and did some still life on my window sill.

Wait Five Minutes

The Missouri weather is erratic as usually suspected.  they say, "if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes"  whoever they are, they are right.  

since i have been back i have gotten the opportunity to become part of something really really great.  the Citizen Jane Film Festival!  this is a festival for the community and filmmakers from around the country.  some of the films include the best of features, documentaries, animation, experimental and short films. all showcasing women behind and in front of the camera.  i am very excited about helping make this festival come to life!!!...www.myspace.com/citizenjanefilmfestival...check it out!!!

M.I.A, Canyon drives, Mermaids, Piano doodles and covers

Lately, i have almost gone into complete trances while driving and listening to M.I.A.  this is bad, i know. This photograph is of my best friend jessica and i at the very top of Topanga Canyon (favorite place on earth*) after a day at the beach, where we witnessed a very indiscreet couple on the sand.  

   Last night i sat down at the baby grand and tried to think of somethings to write from the ol noodle, but nothing.  I am really inspired and influenced by A Fine Frenzy right now.  the music is haunting, honest, ethereal, whimsical, and original.  Props to A Fine Frenzy.  

Since i am having inspiration blockage, i have been working on covers, which are all really different but fun to blast out of my mouth when no one is home.  i really need some better recording equipment and a legit microphone.  basically, garageband blows*

So, if anyone has noticed the mermaids...the album i am working on is called mermaid songs...or probably something along those lines.
